Tom was many things to many people. He was a loving husband and father. He was a valued friend, teacher and an amazing dog trainer. He had a profound talent that could never be duplicated. Tom had overcome many obstacles in his life and truly inspired those around him. He will be missed terribly by his family, friends, colleagues, clients and four legged friends.

Remembering Tom

Tom_RicheSnug Pet Resort, So Cal Working Dog Association, and the entire Schutzhund community, have lost a dear friend and mentor. Tom Riche, 46, Dog Trainer for Snug Pet Resort and the Training Director for So Cal Working Dog Association, passed away the evening of December 10, 2009. Tom suffered a fatal heart attack while working his dog on the club training field. Tom leaves behind his wife, Kristi Riche, and his two beautiful children—Kyler, age 8, and Taylor, age 3.

Daycare Regulations!!

All dogs going into daycare must be spayed or neutered after 6 months of age! Sorry if this is an inconvience for you!

4th of July!!

The 4th of July Snug Pet Resort and Animal Hospital will be closed to the public. We will still be here and taking care of our guests but pick up/drop off daycare, boarding checking in, boarding checking out, training appointments, veterinary services and grooming will not be available. We are also currently completely booked for the holiday weekend but you are more then welcome to call to be added to our waitlist! Thank You!

Front Desk Closed on July 4th

To all our pet owners and their furry loved ones, Snug Pet Resort will be closed to the public on Saturday, July 4th of 2009.  Snug will be staffed regularly to care for all our animal guests.  If you have a vetrinary emergency, you may email Dr. John at drjohn@www.snugpetresort.com.  Thank you and have a wonderful 4th of July!!

New Boarding Regulations!

All dogs boarding and participating in daycare with us must have a bordetella every 6 months and must also test negative on a fecal in the past 6 months. If you do not have time when to go to your doctor before your boarding reservation or need this done before daycare we can do vaccines and fecals at a discounted rate through our own veterinarian. If you have any questions on the new regulations feel free to call!
